It has become a favorite watering spot for birds that live on my place but yesterday in the 104 heatwave I had 3 American Gold Finches at one tier and two others, one Eastern Phoebee, and a Mocking bird all on the fountain at the same time. Them a large Blue Jay landed on the very tip top and drank water coming out of the top. Most of the birds flew off when the Blue Jay landed but the entire afternoon was a melody of birds coming in for a cool drink of water. O...@anonymous: You definitely do need to be on it. One of the best trips of the birds festival in my opinion (not that I have any preference in the trip I lead or anything)

@David: We have thought about it. We've had a couple ideas to change the route that could produce a few more ticks for the day. We would love this trip to turn out 150+ species each year, but we have to keep it somewhat reasonable for the amount of time spent in the car and the cost.Tim Averyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17632013488170310609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6954081165153280225.post-22715848630339285792012-06-26T08:00:40.599-06:002012-06-26T08:00:40.599-06:00Have you guys ever thought about having your trip ...Have you guys ever thought about having your trip go outside of northern Utah?
