Rough-legged Hawk on the Antelope Island Causeway

One of my favorite winter arrivals in northern Utah are the Rough-legged Hawks.  They are a sure sign that winter is here, and it's going to be cold for a while.  Most years they being arriving around the end of October or early November.  This year they were a little behind schedule but are now here in pretty good numbers.  Yesterday I think I saw about 15 or 16 in all at a number of places around northern Utah.  Near the end of the day I found one that was cruising along the Antelope Island Causeway in heavy winds.  It made for great photography that I took full advantage of...
